Jake White from WTV highlights how to stay cool and maintain your air conditioning units during this time. HVAC specialist Chris Allred suggests several tips: avoid overworking the AC by not setting it to low temperatures that it can’t achieve, keep blinds closed, minimize opening doors, and regularly check and clean the AC filter. Additionally, mow grass away from the AC unit to prevent clogs. Ignoring these steps can risk freezing the unit and making it less effective in the heat.

The real summer heat is finally rolling in this weekend and many people will have to start getting prepared.
