Moss Point man sentenced to 35 years for trafficking meth

SUMMARY: Regio Darrell Lavant, 37, from Mississippi Coast, has been to 35 years in prison for methamphetamine trafficking. District Attorney W. Crosby Parker announced the sentence Lavant's conviction on March 1. Lavant was on October 27, 2019, after a traffic stop revealed nearly a kilogram of methamphetamine in his backpack.
