Fire crews fight early morning blaze at Providence Pointe Apartments in Biloxi
SUMMARY: Early this morning, firefighters battled a blaze at Providence Point Apartments. An alert from the City of Buuy at 2:30 a.m. announced the closure of Pops Ferry at Moy Road due to the fire. Assistant Fire Chief Travis Allen reported that the fire was contained to three units, but two buildings were affected, displacing 12 people. The Red Cross is assisting the displaced residents. The calm before the Cruisin’; Cruise Central unpacks at Centennial Plaza
