Vancleave family-owned farm Blueberry Heaven in full bloom
SUMMARY: Destiny Pollster visited Blueberry Heaven, a 6-acre blueberry farm in Van Cleave, owned by Leis Faulk. The farm boasts 6,000 blueberry bushes, performing exceptionally well this season. Faulk notes the large crowds on Saturdays, with visitors picking and tasting berries directly from the bushes to find the best-tasting ones. He encourages visitors to eat as many berries as they can while picking. For those looking to avoid the heat, pre-picked berries are available, with around 250 gallons flash frozen. The 25-year-old bushes are thriving, possibly for the last season, with the farm open from “can to can’t.”
The farm’s 6 acres have around 6,000 blueberry bushes.
