9 MGCCC cheerleaders headed to the Next Level

SUMMARY: Nine members of Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College’s (MGCCC) Cheer Team will advance to four-year schools, marking the most in the program’s history. Coach Brittney Holley hosted a signing ceremony for the cheerleaders, who are headed to NCAA Division I programs. The students and their new schools include: Alexa Buras, Gabriel Beech, and Kyle Shippey (University of Tennessee); Alec Pierce (Western Kentucky University); and Morgan Blackwell, Jonathon Huerta, Kendale Johnson, Kynleigh Anderson, and Journee DeShazo (University of Southern Mississippi).
