Chevron, WLOX present 2024 Super Teacher with $1,000 check
SUMMARY: Congratulations to the winners of the annual Super Teacher Project sponsored by Chevron. This year’s top winner is Tammy White, a special education teacher at Long Beach Middle School, who received a $1,000 check from Chevron to support her classroom efforts. The project, in its third year, aims to highlight teachers who go above and beyond for their students. Additionally, Heather Fayard Rose from Van Cleave High School was awarded $500, and Sophia Sabatini from West Wortham Elementary received $250. WX and Chevron collaborated to recognize these exceptional educators.
The Super Teacher initiative was created to shed light on teachers who go above and beyond to ensure their students are gaining the best education possible.
