Blue Bell shares how to make the perfect root beer float for the summertime
SUMMARY: Memorial Day marks the unofficial start of summer, perfect for enjoying ice cream. Bluebell has introduced a new flavor, A&W Root Beer, following last year's successful Dr Pepper float collaboration. To make a great root beer float, use quality vanilla ice cream and your preferred root beer. Start by chilling the mugs and then add two scoops of ice cream before pouring in the root beer to reduce foaming. Stir with a big straw and enjoy. Bluebell hinted at introducing another new flavor in July, celebrating National Ice Cream Month. The new root beer float flavor evokes nostalgic memories and tastes delicious.
Emmanuel Williams with Blue Bell visited WTVA once again to introduce their newest ice cream flavor. He also explained what goes into making the perfect root beer float just ahead of summertime.
SUMMARY: A house fire occurred near Baxterville in Lamar County amidst thunderstorms in the Pine Belt area. Officials do not suspect foul play and believe a lightning strike may have caused the fire. This assumption is based on homeowner reports and continuous lightning strikes during firefighting efforts. Firefighters managed to quickly contain the blaze, resulting in minimal visible damage to the exterior of the home. No injuries were reported.

Donations will be accepted until July 15th, and the drive will take place on July 16th from 11 AM to 3 PM.
