Two Mississippi escapees captured after being found in abandoned home

SUMMARY: Two inmates who escaped from Claiborne County Detention Center, Tyrekennel Collins, 24, and Dezarrious Johnson, 18, were captured on July 6 in an abandoned home on Bridewell Lane. They escaped on July 5 by going through the ceiling and climbing an outside wall; Johnson his leg during the escape. Collins is accused of killing his cousin in Copiah County in October 2023.
