Pearl River Community College baseball team receives 5 Region 23 Awards
SUMMARY: The Pearl River Community College baseball program continues its success, recently earning five Region 23 Awards. Hollis Porter, from East Central, has accumulated numerous accolades, including MAC Player of the Year, First Team All-MACCC, All-Region Player, and Golden Glove honors. Porter has an impressive defensive record with only five errors out of 388 chances and contributing to 29 double plays. Joining him with All-Region and Golden Glove Awards is switch-hitter and infielder Jeff In, who will continue his career at Stanford University. Outfielder Bryce Fowler also received All-Region honors. Congratulations to these athletes and their achievements.
