Trio accused of passing fake prescriptions across north Mississippi

SUMMARY: WTBA 9 News reports that three , Dante Grant, John Bell, and Kayb Brasco, are behind bars for forging prescriptions for controlled narcotics. They are linked to a multi-county forgery investigation in North Mississippi, possibly part of a larger multi- ring. The suspects targeted pharmacies in Belmont, attempting to obtain Codine, and tried to fax a fake prescription for Xanax at a in Corinth. In Oxford, they tried to get Promethazine with Codine at G&M Pharmacy using a doctor's details from the North Mississippi Services. Local coordinated with various agencies to prevent these fraudulent activities. All three suspects were and will face charges in Oxford, Corinth, and Belmont.

CCID expansion goes into effect
