SUMMARY: Top prospect Jacob Mizerowski sought to secure Buuy’s first win against the Birmingham Barons. However, the former Ole Miss duo of Jake Gonzalez and Tim Elco aimed to extend the Barons’ winning streak. Gonzalez doubled in the first inning, and Mizerowski struck out Elco, escaping the inning unharmed. In the second, a bases-loaded walk gave Birmingham a 1-0 lead. Gonzalez later added his fourth RBI of the series with a single. In the eighth, Elco drove in two more runs with the bases loaded. Collectively, the Ole Miss duo has 10 RBIs in four games.
