In the state baseball playoffs, St. Andrews faced defending champions East Union in a decisive Game 3. St. Andrews, trailing 3-0, rallied in the fifth inning to tie the game and took the lead, eventually winning 9-4. Series MVP Blake Bell contributed crucial runs, leading to St. Andrews' first state title since 2018. Head Coach Mark Fanning celebrated the victory with his son, who just finished his final season. A woman reported her ex-boyfriend was banging on her door before forcing his way in. A second man in the home fired a gun, striking the intruder. The man was rushed to a local hospital but later died. Names are withheld pending family notification, and no arrests have been made.
