One killed in officer-involved shooting in Olive Branch
SUMMARY: In Olive Branch, Mississippi, the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation is looking into a fatal officer-involved shooting that occurred on September 16. Officers from the Olive Branch SWAT Team were serving an arrest warrant when a suspect pointed a weapon at them, prompting the officers to return fire, resulting in the suspect’s death. Fortunately, no officers sustained serious injuries. The MBI will present their findings to the Mississippi Attorney General‘s Office as part of the investigation.

Tishomingo man arrested after officer-involved shooting
SUMMARY: On August 28, a pursuit involving Tishomingo County deputies escalated into an officer-involved shooting involving John William Griffin.
