Beau Rivage teaming up with Red Cross for “Sound the Alarm” initiative
SUMMARY: B Rage employees partnered with the American Red Cross for their annual Sound the Alarm initiative, focused on fire prevention through smoke detectors. Over the past year in Buuy, 400 homes were equipped with new detectors thanks to joint efforts with the local fire department. Starting in 2014, Sound the Alarm has saved over 2,000 lives across the U.S. Volunteers and firefighters also help residents plan fire escape routes. Smoke detectors are critical, effective for only 5-10 years, and the Red Cross is advocating for replacements.

The calm before the Cruisin’; Cruise Central unpacks at Centennial Plaza
SUMMARY: The 28th Annual Cruise in the Coast kicks off on Sunday, with preparations underway at Cru Central. Over the next few days, Centennial Plaza will welcome thousands of classic car enthusiasts who will register for the event. Registration director Craig Roli notes that there will be plenty of participant t-shirts, trophies, and yard signs for display. More than 700 volunteers will assist to ensure a smooth operation. Rob Sigler, a former cruiser turned crew member, highlights the event’s growth and the team’s dedication to hospitality. Classic cars begin arriving at Cru Central on Monday morning in Gulfport.
