Community Counseling Services conducts initial evaluations and monitors prisoners throughout their incarceration. It's crucial as 44% of local jail inmates suffer from mental health disorders.

Lightning and rain are decreasing, mainly affecting Green and George counties. Tropical Storm Beryl could bring rain to South Mississippi early next week. Scattered showers and storms are expected over the weekend with temperatures in the 70s to 80s.
