18-year-old charged in Facebook Marketplace robbery in Byram
SUMMARY: An 18-year-old named Torian Josiah Catchings was arrested by Byram police for robbing a victim during a Facebook Marketplace transaction. Catchings created an advertisement to sell an iPhone 6 for $200, and met the victim at an apartment complex in Byram. He then robbed the victim at gunpoint. Catchings was arrested after a felony bench warrant was issued for his arrest, and is currently being held at the Hinds County Detention Center on an armed robbery charge. The incident occurred at a Chevron gas station on Siwell Road in Byram.

71-year-old Jackson man found guilty in wife's death

84-year-old Mississippi minister robbed, beaten with rifle after making wrong turn
