MGCCC holds 2024 Spring Commencement, pinning ceremony

SUMMARY: Mississippi Coast Community College celebrated its 2024 spring commencement ceremony at the coast coliseum, where over 1,200 from various campuses received their associate of arts degrees and certificates. Brandon Elliot of Elliot Holes was the guest speaker, and Dr. Graham handed out the degrees. Students expressed excitement and pride in achieving their educational goals, with one student even earning an associate’s degree while still in high school. Additionally, the college recently held a pinning ceremony for 250 nursing and students, as Gulf Coast continues to see a growing number of students pursuing bachelor’s degrees in the field. Congratulations to all graduates as they move forward in their academic and professional journeys.

During the commencement ceremony, students of Harrison, , and Perkinston campuses walked the stage and accepted well-earned degrees and certifications.
