SUMMARY: Three MGCCC students have been selected to receive the prestigious Jack Kent Cooke Foundation’s Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship, aiming to help students complete their undergraduate education with minimal debt. The scholarship, providing up to $55,000 a year, was awarded to William Sky Paulk, Frederick Cook, and Ashleigh Pierce, the only students from Mississippi to receive it. The students plan to pursue degrees in biomedical engineering, electrical engineering, and social work, respectively. This scholarship, along with comprehensive educational advising, internship opportunities, and networking, aims to support high-achieving community college students in their journey towards completing their bachelor’s degrees.
