High School Baseball and Softball playoff recap
SUMMARY: Belhaven advances to the conference semifinals with an 11-2 win over LaGrange. In other baseball action, Jackson Prep and MRA face off in a crucial game three in the 6A semifinals, with the winner advancing to the championship. Prep dominates with an 11-1 victory, led by Thomas Cross and Kevin Roberts. Brandon and Northwest Rankin battle for a spot in the state championship, with Brandon coming out on top 6-3 in game one. In the 2A softball playoffs, Pisgah defeats Clarkdale 8-1. Northwest Rankin softball also advances to the state final with an 18-2 win over Ocean Springs. Warren Central takes game one in baseball.
In high school baseball Jackson Prep advances to the 6A MAIS Finals while Brandon picks up a big win over Northwest Rankin in game one of their 7a South State series. Pisgah is victorious in the 2A South State and other scores from state playoff baseball and softball action on Friday night.
