Jasper Co. paving project
SUMMARY: Leaders in Jurg County are preparing for a $3 million countywide paving project starting on May 1st, funded by the American Rescue Plan and a countywide bond issue. Walters Construction will be paving roads in districts one, two, and three, focusing on heavily used roads that have been overlooked in previous projects. The project is expected to take 3 to 4 months to complete. Residents can find a list of roads included in the project on the website wdam.com. Stay tuned for more details from a resident in district one on how the project will improve driving conditions in the area.
The project will cover roughly 10 miles of roadway in districts 1, 2 and 3.
