New division within attorney general’s office to find permanent homes for foster children

SUMMARY: Christopher Antoine Davis is the chief suspect in a double homicide that occurred in Gulfport on Tuesday evening. Mississippi Supreme Court runoff too close to call, hinging on absentee and affidavit ballots
SUMMARY: The Mississippi Supreme Court runoff between incumbent Justice Jim Kitchens and challenger state Sen. Jenifer Branning remained unresolved late Tuesday night, with Branning leading by a narrow margin of 518 votes (0.44 percentage points) as most votes were reported.
