Local teams, individuals hoop it up Saturday at the annual Laurel Leap Day
SUMMARY: About 60 riders participated in the annual Laurel Leap Day basketball event, organized by the Laurel Main Street Association and sponsored by First State Bank. Players of all ages showcased their skills in dunking, shooting, and rebounding, with games divided into community and competitive divisions. The goal was to bring the community together for fun and camaraderie, with proceeds going towards beautifying the downtown area. This community-driven event showcased the unity and passion for basketball, with players competing and enjoying the games. Overall, the event was a success and brought people together in a positive and festive atmosphere.
