Dixie National Parade held in Jackson
SUMMARY: Rodeo lovers gathered in Mississippi’s capital city for the annual Dixie National Rodeo season, marking the start of the last week of the season. Former Livestock Show contestant Lydia Stingley shared her family‘s tradition of participating in various shows and parades. A special memorial mural honoring the historic voice of the rodeo, Mike Mathis, and longtime rodeo clown performer Lecile Harris was unveiled at the main entrance of the coliseum. The rodeo events will come to a close on Sunday, February 18th after a week of activities. This annual tradition brings together rodeo enthusiasts of all ages for a fun and festive time.

Five connected to sexual assault charges in Laurel
