1 in custody, 1 sought after police chase
SUMMARY: One woman is in custody and a man is on the loose this morning after leading Capitol Police on a chase. During the pursuit, someone was hit at an intersection. The incident happened on Tuesday around 5:30. The police are searching for 30-year-old Jarvis Crump after officers say they tried pulling the driver over near Ellis Avenue and the driver took off. The driver hit someone at an intersection, causing officers to wreck also. The chase continued to McLean Rd, where the driver wrecked his car and ran. A woman and a 2-year-old were found in the car, and the woman was detained.
A woman is in custody and Capitol police are searching for a man in connection with a chase.

Lumberton hopes to move quickly on hiring new police chief
SUMMARY: Lumberton is seeking a new police chief following Adrien Fortenberry’s appointment to lead Columbia’s Police Department.
