Mississippi State drops first SEC game of the season, falling to Florida 45-28
SUMMARY: The Mississippi State football team lost 45-28 to Florida in their first conference game, despite improving their offensive execution with 480 yards and four scores. The Bulldogs struggled defensively, allowing 503 yards from Florida’s dual-quarterback attack, which included Graham Mertz’s efficient 201 yards passing. While Mississippi State’s rushing game showed promise with 236 yards, their defense faltered, failing to generate sacks and allowing too many explosive plays. Head coach Jeff Lebby expressed frustration over the defensive performance. With this loss, the Bulldogs face a three-game losing streak and will play No. 1 Texas next week.

The commission will conduct statewide training sessions and launch a social media campaign to inform the public about the program’s goals and safety education efforts.
