Callihan, who had been in custody since June 13, allegedly stabbed Callie to death in her Loranger home before abducting the children. Erin was found dead in Mississippi, having died from suffocation. Callihan agreed to extradition on June 24 and is now held in federal custody at the Plaquemines Parish Detention Center. There has been no update on the status of his alleged accomplice, Victoria Cox, who was also arrested in Mississippi.

3 arrested after Claiborne County drive-by shooting injures 4
