Saltillo High School student hosting third annual community clothes giveaway

SUMMARY: Carson Miller, a junior at Saltillo High School, started a community clothes giveaway to people in need. The is on January 6th at Mayfel Church of Christ in Saltillo. They collect clothes and shoes from September to December and anyone can show up to items. The giveaway is for all ages, adults, infants, kids, and toddlers. Carson’s goal is to help people in the community and bring smiles to their faces. Their heartwarming initiative has been successful and continues to make a positive impact on the community.

A free clothes giveaway is happening Saturday, January 6th in Saltillo. This is the third time that Carson Miller, now a junior at Saltillo High School, has hosted this event.

Perry County School District sees rank bump up a grade

Federal funding to help Lamar, Perry counties bolster law enforcement staffs
