Thalia Mara Hall renovation efforts continue
SUMMARY: The city of Jackson is working to renovate and reopen Thaalam Mara Hall. A recent update revealed that a response document regarding the September 11 visit from State Fire Marshal Mike Cheney, who identified 22 fire code violations, will be released soon. Hygienic tests were conducted, and a new chiller arrived early. Remediation for Thaalam Mara Hall is estimated to take 4 to 8 weeks, after which a final inspection will occur. Commission lists projects for FY 2025
