Tunica County fugitive captured late Wednesday morning

SUMMARY: Tyrone Scott, a military veteran, was arrested by law enforcement after allegedly threatening to commit an active shooting. The incident stemmed from a domestic disturbance where Scott allegedly cut his girlfriend with a knife. He called the VA crisis line and the Sheriff’s Office to make threats. He was arrested near Highway 3 and Bob Crenshaw Road with the assistance of the Mississippi Highway Patrol. A state trooper arrested Tyrone Scott at 11:13 a.m. near Highway 3 and Bob Crenshaw Road, which is on the border of Tunica and Panola counties.
