Former Amory teacher convicted of sexually enticing students
SUMMARY: A former Army High School teacher, Tashimi Wilson, has been found guilty of sexually exploiting at least seven children. The federal jury in Greenville reached the verdict today, after Wilson went on trial for producing explicit material while he was a teacher at the school. Prosecutors say he used his position to groom students, encouraging them to produce sexual abuse videos and pictures in exchange for money and drugs between 2005 and 2014. Wilson still faces state indictment in Monroe County and could face 240 years in prison. He will be sentenced in 60 days.
