Former Missisisppi State Bulldogs and Brandon native Will Rogers will take his talents to Washington for his final year of college football. ESPN’s Pete Thamel broke the news on Friday night that the SEC’s second all time passer is going to the Huskies. Rogers told ESPN that the Washington offense, skill players and their offensive line were the key factors in his decision. Rogers leaves MSU with several program passing records and now he’ll have a chance to play for a team that aims to compete for a national championship this year and next year where he’ll be favorite to replace Heisman finalist Michael Penix Jr.
