Local United Way’s Adopt-A-Family seeks last few adoptions for Christmas

SUMMARY: United Way of Lowndes and Noxubee Counties is running their Adopt-A-Family program during the holiday season. With 90 families needing support, there are still more than 20 families left to be adopted. The program aims to help those hit by unforeseen events such as illness or disaster, regardless of their financial standing. Families like Dream and Lyfe Wilson, who asked for a tennis ball and a Nintendo Switch, are benefiting. Their grandparents, now their guardians, have taken them in to avoid foster care.
