Authorities searching for 2 inmates who escaped federal prison in Yazoo City

SUMMARY: Two inmates, Javier Del Rio-Larios, age 38, and Celestino Valdez, age 31, have escaped from a satellite camp near Yazoo City Low, a federal correctional institution. They were reported missing on Monday around 4:30 p.m. Valdez was serving a 10-year sentence for possession with intent to distribute significant quantities of methamphetamine and heroin, and possessing a firearm during a drug trafficking crime. Further information on Del Rio-Larios is being sought by SuperTalk Mississippi News. The U.S. Marshals Service is requesting that anyone with information contact them at (601) 608-6800.

St. Pe’ wins Mississippi Court of Appeals runoff by wide margin

Clinton siblings sentenced to prison for trying to have stepfather murdered

Jackson State football cleared of any wrongdoing amid allegations of film spying
