Public Service Commission race too close to call
SUMMARY: The race for Central District Public Service Commissioner remains too close to call as the ballot counting continues. Democrat challenger Keith Stamps is currently leading incumbent Republican Brant Bailey. Stamps attributes his lead to funding from Washington, D.C., for his opponent. Bailey, despite trailing by about 3000 votes, is not giving up yet and hopes for a miracle in the form of absentee ballots and affidavits. Both candidates expressed confidence and disappointment in the accusations thrown at them during the campaign. The final outcome will depend on the numbers from various counties in the Central District.
