Jackson State football cleared of any wrongdoing amid allegations of film spying
SUMMARY: Jackson State has been cleared of any wrongdoing by the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) following allegations of film spying. Accusations surfaced that a player from T.C. Taylor’s team informed Arkansas Pine Bluff that Jackson State had been watching their practice film ahead of their matchup, which the Tigers won 41-3. Jackson State denied the claims and cooperated with the SWAC investigation. After reviewing evidence, including interviews and legal consultations, the SWAC found no substantial evidence of unethical conduct. Jackson State (10-2, 8-0 SWAC) will host the SWAC Championship against Southern University on December 7.
