Groundbreaking held for new Jackson golf course

SUMMARY: Jackson's Parham Bridges Park is set to open a new three-hole, short-format public golf course. The project, which aims to make the game accessible to all and free of charge, has been in development for years with the collaboration of First Tee, the City of Jackson, and Park Golf. PGA golfers even helped children with their swings during the unveiling. The mini-course will feature artificial turf and provide clubs and limited golf balls, eliminating the need for additional equipment. The park is expected to open in Spring 2024.

Dau Mabil’s family at odds over independent autopsy arrangements
