New art exhibit opening at MGCCC Jackson County Campus

SUMMARY: The MGCCC Jackson County Fines Art Gallery will display a new exhibit featuring the works of coastal artist Curtis Jaunsen. The exhibit opens on August 29 and runs through September 29. Jaunsen, who studied classic painting methods from the Renaissance at the Florence Academy of Art in Italy, will engage with the audience in an artist talk at the opening. Some of his works are displayed at the Pink Rooster in Ocean Springs and the Carol Robinson Gallery in New Orleans.
