Heather McMurry wanted to attend the meeting after noticing the books when visiting the library with her children. She saw a graphic novel that stood out to her and became interested. Upon closer inspection, McMurry’s interest turned to concern. She looked at the back of the graphic novel and questioned its content.

Raffle aims to help Lee County Library purchase new “family work station”
SUMMARY: The Friends of the Lee County Library are raffling a complete reading nook, including a recliner, table lamp, throw blanket, and a signed copy of John Grisham’s “Camino Ghosts.” The raffle aims to raise funds for a family workstation at the library, featuring a computer desk and a playpen for toddlers, enhancing the library experience for families. Raffle tickets are priced at $5 each or five for $20, available at the library or from board members. The drawing will take place on December 19th.
The Reading Nook Raffle includes a recliner, end table, lamp, blanket and signed copy of John Grisham’s Camino Ghosts.
