Amory plans to host meetings to get community input on tornado recovery

SUMMARY: Amory, Mississippi is hosting two community meetings for residents to discuss and ask questions about tornado recovery efforts. The city is applying for a Disaster Recovery Community Development Block Grant and these meetings will help develop a plan for the future. The first meeting will take place on August 16 at the National Guard Armory, followed by a second meeting the next day at the Benjamin Wax Community Center. The discussions will begin at 5:30 PM. These meetings provide an opportunity for residents to have their say in the recovery process.
