SUMMARY: Jayden Lowe, an 18-year-old from Okolona, Mississippi, is making waves in the sport of powerlifting. After following a strict training regimen and sacrificing partying and going out, Lowe achieved great success at the recent Nationals for the United States Powerlifting Association. He won best lifter for juniors and set four world records, including a squat of 595, bench of 363, and deadlift of 744. Lowe plans to continue promoting the sport and breaking world records as he attends Blue Mountain Christian University on a powerlifting scholarship. In the future, he hopes to become a strength and conditioning coach for college athletes.
