SUMMARY: Wednesday morning will be cloudy, with increasing chances of evening showers due to a cold front moving into Mississippi and Alabama. Afternoon temperatures will reach the low 70s, accompanied by wind gusts of 20-25 mph. A dense fog advisory is in effect until 9 a.m. Spotty showers may occur along Interstate 55 later, with a marginal risk of severe weather, including damaging winds and quarter-sized hail, tonight into Thursday morning. Showers will mostly clear by 10 a.m. on Thanksgiving, transitioning to lower 60s in the afternoon. Expect cooler temperatures with highs in the mid-50s and freezing overnight lows this weekend.

Man shot, killed over pair of tennis shoes in Jackson
