Bridge closure on South Railroad Avenue in Hancock County
SUMMARY: Hancock County has announced that the westward bridge on South Railroad Avenue in Waveland will be closed for four to five months starting on July 31st. The closure is necessary in order to repair the structure of the bridge. During this time, traffic will be detoured via Waveland Avenue, South Beach Boulevard, and Claremont Boulevard. The project is being undertaken by contractors and is expected to be completed by the end of the year.
