SUMMARY: The morning is starting off quiet and dry with some high clouds in the Magnolia State. The bulk of cloudy and stormy activity is to the north and west, but will move into the region later in the afternoon. Temperatures are in the low to mid seventies and will climb into the upper seventies. High temperatures this afternoon will be in the low to mid nineties. The afternoon will see isolated storms, with the majority of rain and storms developing in the evening and continuing into the overnight. Sunday will also have rain and storms, with the potential for gusty conditions. The rainy pattern will continue throughout the week, with the possibility of flooding. Despite the rain, temperatures will remain high, reaching the triple digits.
