SUMMARY: Erica Scott, a Spanish teacher at Greyhound Nation, has been encouraging her students to explore new languages and cultures for over 20 years. She believes that learning a foreign language is vital in today‘s global society, as it not only helps students communicate but also understand different people and their stories. Scott creates a welcoming environment in her classroom and uses comprehensible input to help students thrive. She organizes trips to other countries to further immerse her students in different cultures. Thanks to Huntington Learning Center in Gulfport for their assistance in organizing this story.
