In Hancock County, family and friends of a 14-year-old who died due to accidental gun violence remembered her at the local VFW.

Though the event was a benefit, it felt like a celebration of Alexis Pierson’s life.

This Mother’s Day weekend, the parents of 14-year-old Alexis Pierson still mourn one month after their daughter died in an accidental shooting.
