9/7 – Chris’s “Heat Advisory” Thursday Afternoon Forecast
SUMMARY: High pressure near El Paso, Texas and Florida will cause heat and humidity issues for the next few days. Temperatures could reach the mid to upper 90s, and heat index values may reach 105-110 due to the humidity. However, isolated showers and thunderstorms are predicted near the cold front that stretches from Lake Erie to Texas. As the weekend approaches, the high pressure will move westwards, reducing humidity and leading to manageable heat levels. Temperatures should become more seasonable by midweek as a few showers and storms are expected from incoming energy pulses.
