SUMMARY: A cold front heralded by scattered showers and thunderstorms is due to bring relief from hot temperatures in South Mississippi. As the front approaches, it will cause winds to shift to the north and result in clearer skies. However, the heat and humidity will likely return toward the end of the week, with the possibility of more rain due to a tropical disturbance in the Gulf of Mexico.
