8/1 – Trey Tonnessen's “Feels Like 115” Thursday Noon Forecast
SUMMARY: Good afternoon, South Mississippi! Despite a calm surface, the region is experiencing dangerously high heat, with feels-like temperatures exceeding 100°F—some areas are reaching over 110°F. This has prompted heat advisories due to the risks of quick dehydration. While the day features clear skies and sunshine, afternoon thunderstorms are possible, though they’re not a major concern. Tropical activity might increase in the coming days, influenced by factors like wind shear and Saharan dust. Overall, enjoy the beautiful weather but stay vigilant about the heat.
