7/29 – Trey Tonnessen's “Big Sweat” Monday Noon Forecast
SUMMARY: Good afternoon, South Mississippi! Last week, the weather was mostly unfavorable for outdoor activities, but today we’re seeing an improvement with warmer temperatures and a reduction in rain. After experiencing significant rainfall leading to potential flooding, today’s forecast looks much clearer with no major weather issues reported. However, the heat has returned, making it feel like over 100ยฐF due to humidity, prompting heat advisories across central and southern Mississippi. On the tropical front, while there is some potential development south of Florida, strong Saharan dust is currently keeping storm activity low. Stay alert and enjoy a warmer day!
