SUMMARY: The weather pattern is changing slightly due to a dissipated cold front, resulting in lower dew-points and drier air. The probability of showers and thunderstorms remains low, but some isolated activity is possible. As the week progresses, precipitation may slowly increase. Low to mid 70F dew-point temperatures are expected to continue past Thursday, potentially yielding higher Heat Index numbers by the end of the week. A weather disturbance in the Gulf could bring much-needed rainfall to the area over the weekend and into the beginning of next week.
